Hi Mr B. Great news. The Mutant Monster girls have made a comeback after nearly 5 years hiatus. They are in studio now making new music and are playing 3 live shows in Tokyo, Osaka and Nagoya. dates to follow. Cannot wait to see them. Awesome band.

They went into hiberation I think at the start of covid or even earlier. Last album was 2018. Chad the drummer has been playing with other bands but I don't think MM has officially disbanded.

@@OldMrB Their X is being updated: It seems that all three of them together recently modelled an ad for a clothes shop in the punk rock magazine _Bollocks,_ published by Shinko Music (which also publishes _BURRN!,_ which had a special issue on Band-Maid last summer). Also, congratulations, Meana, she seems to have gotten married.

Yes, they are but are no more, the drummer is in another band now, well the best person to tell all about it is Paul Anderson.

One of my favourite songs by them. Maybe they'll reform one day...who knows. I wonder what they made of Huddersfield, where this is from. It is rather different to Japan. Then again, I think on tours bands tend to spend all their time in a van going from one city to another, and don't see much at all.

Yes, bands don't get a lot of time to go looking around when they are on tour.

I haven't heard anything from them in years and I fear they don't exist anymore. I really like the Hong Kong Rocks concerts. I really enjoyed this band while it lasted sadly some of their best videos seem to be gone.

All their videos are safely in the Mutant Monster facebook group. Chad is in a new band now, I've seen them several times. "Great World Yozakura Gokuzo Orchestra". I call them Gwygo for short😂

@paulpabloanderson6884 I've trouble finding some of the kids in the past but I've only looked on utube. I thought they would break through but they didn't. At least they enjoyed some success and who knows we might see them again one day.

Saw them at HyperJapan a few years ago - saw them twice, enjoyed them more than Lovebites. Lovely people, great fun, would love to see them again but it looks like they've moved on with their lives.
