Watched 17 growing up and he’s drove everyone the same way he drove you. That’s why he’s not at pevely and he wasn’t back the next week. When the track in Montgomery was open he drove the same way.

17 definitely overdrove the entry for a slider. A shot in the shorts was definitely the answer. Bumpers are cheap. Having to drive through the field at a track like that (tight quarters) is what gets expensive. Sunday morning QB here but mabey stay tight to his door on entry and match the speed and either he lifts or takes you to the wall but the slider is al least dampened.

Both are charged, and sent to the rear. I guess it varies from track to track, promoter to promoter. But I do got a question. What air filter is that you use?

Happy Birthday Tim! The heat race thing was just that. A thing. If you had intentionally done it that's different. No worries and nobody should've looked at it any different. Now that driver of the 17. Should've bent him. After the way he drove you in the heat race, yep. Everything that cat was doing was on purpose and mirror driving. But I know you're not that type of driver and neither am I. Which, makes it tough t h see days with some of these drivers have nothing invested in what they're driving. In most cases anyways. You'll get it fixed up just like I'll replace the axle tube on my dirt #2m. You did good considering what you were up against. Keep diggin! Your win this year is coming.

That heat was sad. The black car you hit, pushed up into the yellow car and slowed before you hit it. The yellow car was a squirrel and never should have been on the front row. In the feature that was an A-number-one bad slide job which seems to be quite popular these past few years. There's even been articles about it. That driver was all over the place, couldn't hold a line for spit. I hope you guys get more cars for your track

As an old corner judge and former track steward. At our track the 17 would have been called for the caution and sent to the back. Doesn't matter they kept going and you spun out. They caused you to spin out. So by rights they caused the caution. My argument would have been if confronted by the 17 "that because they all but lost it in the corner and 7 had to avoid them they are in turn at fault. The 7 could have run them over but elected to avoid it to save on yours and 7's equipment". I have done this more then once in the past and never got an argument over my decision. Once you explain either to the back or on the hook and go home and fix a lot of torn up parts.

Tim... you should try running a weekend with the USMTS boys.....its a different world!!!! u never see the same guy win time after time... they have it set so its impossble... with the inverts at the qulifying.. so u qulify 1st ur starting last in the heat and only the top 4 transfer in to the a main all the rest have to go to a bmain and only the top 6 rransfer from B to the a

Dirty sliders are considered an infraction at some tracks. It's unfortunate when it takes a car out. That's racing though.

I have worked corners and flagged a few times over the years. From the flag stand, it is a tough call, but the rule of thumb is the car in front at the time gets the benefit of doubt. Either way, someone is not going to be happy.

The caution you was charged with definitely was a terrible call. If the 17 would have kept his momentum thru the slide job it wouldn’t of even happened but he almost came to a complete stop in front of ya. No where to go. Consider yourself blessed, you got bit but came back for a decent finish. On my 35th birthday I was racing at Riverside Park in Agawam Mass, started 4th row outside in 1st heat, coming thru 3&4 for the start, the guy behind me was already under the rear of my car, under the fuel cell bar and walled me, it took me 2hrs to get it on the trailer, stayed up all night to make repairs to go to Thompson Speedway in Connecticut the next day, the highlight was there were folks come up to me in the pits saying "we're sorry you had bad luck last night but we're glad to see you here", that made it all worth while. So be happy you finished and brought it home in one piece. Best of luck in the future.

You were part of the caution so i believe you would have been to the rear either way, but i believe if i was an official at that race i would have put the leader to the rear for the dirty slider he threw that ultimately caused the caution.

Not your fault on the feature caution. If you run the bottom you have to leave a line for the top, especially at the start of a race. You are generous calling that move a slider.

You were the fastest car on the track, it’s hard but you need some more patience, when you get amped up on small tracks it usually cost you a lot more money. And it’s hard to have patience when you know you have the car to beat. But it looks like you race with a bunch of squirrels also.
