In Fighting Games they got the combos listed in the menu. 2K needs to do the same. For real, it takes too long to discover all the different quick step combos, etc.

Just all default stuff. These are difficult moves, so it's okay to try and get the timing down right first with a lot of practice. Can I only tap RS to left on the triple threat, and why? Also I’m trying Donovan Mitchell and Curry, and neither one moves. Some times they barely dribble, let alone a tween dribble
@KevinCruz0162 жыл бұрын
Hey Michael! No you definitely can try tapping the RS in different directions, try seeing what kind of combos you get, especially with mixing up the left stick input and the other right stick input. Mitchell and Curry got some nice escape dribbles, so that shouldn't be the case. My advice is that it's maybe down to a timing thing. If you can give me more details, maybe I can try and help you out!
@michaelbarber13662 жыл бұрын
@@KevinCruz016 so when tapping should I be watching the animation for a queue. Or should I flick Rs, completely let go, then flick left stick. You did a slow mo, so maybe I’m not doing it long enough, or I’m holding them to long. I can trigger a tween dribble maybe 1 out of seven times
@michaelbarber13662 жыл бұрын

@pvndvrmy82622 жыл бұрын
@@KevinCruz016 so I figured out that Its purely timing. So you can do it slow or fast but it gives a different window depending on the speed you flick right. I can do it like 10 times straight then I can’t like 7 times straight. But also no matter where you are on the arc, you can do the tween no matter which way you flick left stick. I’m using Zach Levine in 2Ku
@KevinCruz0162 жыл бұрын
If you hold the second RS tap it will launch you into an escape jumper. Just make sure it’s quick taps and not a hold, that should let you flow into the dribble move

@KevinCruz0162 жыл бұрын
Appreciate you bro!! Yeah, I had trouble too when using his sigs at first, I did notice that some of his step back jumpers can be pretty quick in terms of timing. So practice each specific animation, that will really help you get the timing down!

Literally went into 2ku and couldn’t trigger the switchback combo
@KevinCruz0162 жыл бұрын
The standard switch back? Or out of the triple threat? If it's out of the triple threat, it's really a timing thing. The right stick input and the left stick input are almost simultaneous in execution. Just keep working at it Tim! If you check my livestream from last saturday, you'll see that even I have difficulties in execution!

Ngl it's really hard to read and react against elite defenders. I'm playing against Herb Jones with DeMar Derozan and I can almost never get an open shot.
@KevinCruz0162 жыл бұрын
Try using the more shifty moves like attack crossovers, but you're right, going up against elite defenders can get really difficult!
@hendude1272 жыл бұрын
@@KevinCruz016 Yeah I find attacking size ups and especially Demar’s in and out to be really useful. But I wanna be able to lull my defenders to sleep like Harden and then just blow by them. I’ve also found that initiating contact and reacting off of that helps out a lot against elite defenders. Before I would stray away from contact but now I’m taking it.

@Dame_3012 жыл бұрын
🔥🔥🔥as always. I also found out yesterday that when In a triple threat position or a stand still with a live dribble, click on the LS and he’ll put the ball on the floor to start dribbling. I must not understand the timing on the sticks how do you move like this…
@KevinCruz016 Жыл бұрын
I put a stream out to detail how this works in real time, but the best advice I can give is that the left stick and right stick inputs are almost simultaneous in the speed in which you execute them. Hit the right stick first and as you initiate on the right stick you should already be pushing on the left stick!
@caseyanderson69912 жыл бұрын
Can’t do these what am I doing wrong ?
@KevinCruz0162 жыл бұрын
start with the triple threat tween dribble first. If you can do that, now it's about timing the second right stick input. so the timing of the right stick inputs are the same is if you were doing the moves with a live dribble. So it's quick double taps, the difficult part is usually timing the left stick input quickly after the first right stick input. So it's a fast almost overlapping input between the first right stick input, into the left stick input, and then even faster once you do the second right stick input for the combos. It's a difficult move to master, but once you start getting the timing down, you should be good! Give yourself time to try and learn it, and once it clicks, you won't be looking back!

ahhh I feel like something has been missed here I've been trying to do the tween step back as you have stated RS left - LS up/right - RS left in quick secession.... unless you need to have a certian players dribble style to do this I don't this these moves are for any player....I feel this is a massive part of these moves you have left out because for like an hour i've been practising and yeah NUP.... must be something that either got patched or you left out some info. nice moves though
@KevinCruz0162 жыл бұрын
The escape dribble moves are player specific, because each player has their own dribble moves. You got to have the same dribble package equipped. Inputs are correct, the virtual controller overlay shows 1 to 1 inputs to the resulting animation. Just takes a lot of practice.
