"Because it is theoretical, we can assume that whatever the coefficient is, it is the order." An important rule. by the way, you were very clear in explaining the steps and made it look simple, it took me 6 minutes to understand what my professor tried to explain in 2 hours. Thank you!!!

What should I do in case the first step is not reversible? Thanks

Hi Potato Man, if the first step is not reversible it is either the slow step or a fast step proceeded by another fast step. The only step that needs to be reversible is the fast step right before the slow step. It is also possible to have the slow step first in which case none of the steps will be reversible.
