Good morning my country friend, thanks for taking us on a road trip. I think you do a perfect amount of talking. When you're eating you show us the food and then you sign off and eat. In the car you tell us about the demographics of the area, maybe a history fact, or we can see ourselves on the way new things while you are exploring. For the people who just want to enjoy the ride in silence, just mute. Personally, I am not here for a long time, just a good time.🙌🏼 I want to learn all I can. oh and PS I am like you about taking a different route back and exploring new things. Like I would have been so excited to found that huge fresh fruit market! I get that from my daddy he still does this... even not on a road trip, he will come over and say he'll be back in 20 minutes and it will be 3 hours later 🤣🤣 well... he saw someone selling yellow watermelon and had to stop, and then he found some pineberries and a store he had never been too..... and then... lol. I enjoyed your Sunday video. I noticed during your drive that the stoplights there are hung horizontally. Here where I live they are hung vertically. I think your way is better because when the wind gets up our stop lights swing back and forth like crazy. The land is so flat and here we have hills and the road goes up and down and lots of curves. Thanks for giving me as view of Texas. I have never been there.

Great Sunday Morning Chef Jeffrey! I'm envious because the dish that you have in front of you. I've only been to Texas one time when I was a young boy but on my bucket list I want to come back and visit all the famous barbecue joints there. And I was told that it would take you about a week and a half or two weeks to hit every good barbecue place in the place you're at franchises one of the ones on my list as well

There is an ice cream place near my father-in-law's house that piles their ice cream cones so high that no one can eat above the small size. Medium or larger always flops over. Another local place near a local theme park supposedly has ice cream that tastes like unicorn tears according to reviews. I tried a favorite treat from Dairy Queen that we often got when we were children. It didn't taste as good. When I looked the ice cream was low fat. No wonder it didn't taste the same. It was likely full fat when I had it as a child.

Good afternoon, Chef! Everything looks good! The brisket is so moist and tender looking! At 20:35 you lost audio. So I couldn't hear your comments until 22:21. Mm Mm! My mouth was watering! On our next trip to San Antonio we'll have to make a be-line to Austin to check ✔️ out Blacks BBQ! It looks amazing! I'm sure it's to "live" for! We used to get DQ blizzards on our road trips to Texas, but the location was shut down. Now we go to Braums for a sundae when we find one. I like their soft serve yogurt chocolate vanilla swirl too. In Louisiana we have maybe two DQ locations in Shreveport/Bossier City near by. And LaGrange, Texas is famous for The Best Little W****house in Texas film, and ZZ Top! Thanks for sharing! ❤️ I enjoy road trips!

I have been to Austin Texas once when I went to visit my sister in San Antonio and we drove to Austin for a few hours. I think it only took about 45 minutes from San Antonio where she lived. We had a good time...went to this park and walked the trail. I really enjoyed it the little bit that I did see in Austin.

Heading to Austin and may go to Terry Black's BBQ, funny thing is a co-worker was just telling me about his trip to Terry Black's in Austin and how much he liked it, I've been to the one in Lockhart and really enjoyed it. I will also be on route to Katy from Austin and taking backroads there, also I've been to that Shell Station in Katy 4 years ago but don't recall seeing the taco truck, maybe wasn't there then?
