Chef Jeffrey, this is a great Road Trip. Its so good to see Tyrone and Dillion enjoying the site seeing and ride-a-long. The Farmers Market have some good home grown fruits, vegetables, peas, etc. We can't wait to see the Watermelon Festival. The Hays Barbecue and sides looks delicious, but not like yours. Love this trip, moved to Minnesota from Texas in 05’ grew up in Rosanky so went to Lockhart all the time. Just love this town. We try to make it back to Texas every couple of years but since Covid it has been over three now, and at least 7 since we have been to Lockhart, enjoyed the trip down memory lane and how much things have changed. Can’t wait for the watermelon festival video. The tour thru bucees, the first time we went there we were blown away by the 26 ice machines, the most we have is 4..lol…God Bless, oh by the way our speed limit is 65…

Hello Chef! I eat watermelon just about every single day for breakfast. I prefer to grow my own of everything these days. I hate paying these prices for fruits and vegetables. My own walnuts, kiwis,plums and cherries. It feels good to to go out there and pick what I want off of the trees. Thanks for taking us along!

Hey you Proud Texan! Dillon was drinking Horchata (rice milk, vanilla & cinnamon) Love it myself but fattening!! I really liked that you included Tyrone talking in this. He'd be a fun one to hang with! This should have been a contest... How many times was Watermelon & Bar-B-Que mentioned (?) I would think is the Bar-B-Que Capital in the World, there's SO MANY. Too bad so many Chicagoans wouldn't show, but I have Gematos wood pit Bar-B-Que in Naperville. No it's not gigantic, but is by far the Best of what I've had in all the Chicago area!! infortunately, just over the mountain from me, pigeon forge/gatlinburg is getting the largest buckees in the world! can you imagine how bug that one will be?!?! now when i say unfortunately, we aint gor no spread out farmland like that area in texas where amazon n rooms to go n all that was. no... just a little mountain area that dolly parton made famous theres nothing like traveling! i hope you get your rv soon. youll love it! my daddy took is all over the u.s. and acroas canada and i still have the travel bug. nothing like it! those tacos looked good! be careful driving n filming. you got dillon there... teach tyrone too. i worry about you driving n videoing

Enjoyed the road trip with You, Tyrone and Dillon. Glad no wiper problems.Taco's looked good. Learned about the businesses like Bell, Igloo, Amazon, Rooms to go etc.Liked the Farmers market.Wanted some peas, plums and black diamond watermelon. I get plums, sit them in the window a couple of days (the big ones) in the sun and they are so sweet.Hays barbecue was o.k.You brought back a memory for me about cleaning your palate with the pickles.wendy bagwell- fancy restaurant 100k views 11 y ago. Loved Buc-ees.. Had the pudding , brisket and Mama Williams peanut patty.The trip was very nice and pleasant. Missed the Dairy Queen though.

Mannnn that was a good road trip. Texas got all of the super warehouses. The BBQ looked good and then I heard the sausage snap and I thought it's probably a little dry and then you confirmed what I was thinking LOL. Tell Dillon if he starts cooking long enough he'll know when the banana pudding isn't homemade 😂. And Tyrone was like a kid in a toy store when he got in Buc-ees😂😂

I got the best watermelon and cantaloupe a couple days ago and you can't beat the sweetness when they're in season. I'm not even ashamed that I ate a full cantaloupe day before yesterday and almost a half watermelon yesterday. I don't feel guilty about it at all cuz it's good clean food and great benefits for you.

Thanks for sharing in my town we dont have not BBQ joint it's awful we have to search far and wide to find it or cook it ourselves! I've always thought that a nice BBQ Pit would do well around here I'm to poor to even start that and I live in an apartment were we are not allowed to BBQ can you imagine that!
