What a beauty! Wow Deore XT all the way , raceface stem and crankset, magura hydraulic brakes, nice rims and and the fox 34 the dropper post, the brooks saddle the maxxis minnion tires it is really what anyone can dream of a nice bike on top of that a beautiful niner frame, i kind of remember my first decent built back in the 90's cannondale M900 frame and all shimano XTR hubs, crankset cassette, rear and front deralieur , mavic rims , panaracer Kevlar tires Answer Manitou 5 Dt swiss spokes, zoom profile handlebars , money well spent and totally a nice investment, man enjoy as much as I did back in those days.

I redid my 95-96 Homegrown to have a rigid Carboncycles fork, v-brakes instead of cantis, shorter Thomson stem, wide Answer bars, Thomson seatpost, wider tires, but kept the 3x8 Gripshift Xray, White Brothers cranks, and og Selle San Marco tomato seat..... that bike is SO FUN, much more than before... I rip on that thing. Sometimes my Stumpjumper Carbon 29 gets jealous. Great build, man!! That's SICK!!

I agree Jammy. I bought my first MTB, Diamond Back with the original Marzocchi fork, in 1990. I repurposed the frame and stem and turned her into The Mule. Rigid fork, Nexxus 7-sp. She hauls my surfboard, my BOB trailer and has racks front and rear for extra beer. Steel frames rule if they’re not abused.
