Can confirm that this is genius :P though tanks are only worth 5 points on this so most you can get is 60 but brilliant if you can’t be bothered to grind it out

Dunno if someone's mentioned this already, but there's a military base right down the street from the challenge itself. I found the 10-point tanks could more easily get to you there. Plus the choppers are also worth a number of points, too.

@@Josh__777 Really ?? Damn I already finished all the trophies, I'm now finishing the game without dying... I tried this one a few times but saw an astuce in the comments, and it really works ! Just go in the military base (south of the map, just next to the beginning of this activity) and in this base there is a lot lot lot lot of militaries, you'll get it the first time !

its a pain in the ass...easily the hardest kill event...

Hardest event in the game, to the point it's just cheap. Tanks give you a random 5 or 10 points per kill, you get hardly any time to do it, and the aiming is so slow it takes 5 seconds just to turn in a direction. Movement ones were a piece of cake compared to this BS.

I just got 266 out of 200. Thaplaya is right - you have to go south to the military base but go passed it right out into the open. There are hundreds of unmarked soldiers running around and I just fired into the crowds for huge kills.

I found a sneaky way to help in this, theres a base nearby, if you drive to that base and smack it to the ground that's an easy 60-70 kills within 10 seconds ;) .

I got this by (while firing 100% of the time) driving to the left when you start, stop in the middle of the crossroads and just spin to each road in turn and fire, trying to maximise each shot on each road.

The south base is good advice. I tried the strategy in this video 20 times until I went to the base and got 220 kills.

The best thing to do is go the the South!! If you go there you can shoot as much tanks as you like becuase you drive ride thru an Military Base!!! all the tanks you shoot they spawn right there!! I've tried the challenge like 30 times.. never came above the 150.. and I've drove 1 time to the south and I have now 317 kills !!! :D People!! Believe me!!

yes I've noticed the open spot.. but 100 of soldiers are the same points as 10 tanks so you could better kill the tanks... any way you've got it so i'm glad :P

I tried just blasting the tanks and soldiers near the spawn, no luck. tried going to the base, no luck. spent hours upon hours trying to beat plat on this level. Then i found an awesome spot 3 blocks south of financial district, in the harbor. tons of soldiers to blast. 234 plat on that round.

If you've got all the challenge score platinum BEFORE the event was unlocked, you have to redo the whole game...its a bug.

Lol the reason this is so hard is cause if you use the explosive ammo it throws around cars and cause splash damage. Splash damage don't count
