What she says does make sense in Russian, not literally the same as lines in English (which I believe are Australian equivalents), but the meaning is close as far as I can understand the implications of Australian lines. Basically Tati answers him in idioms telling that he's insane in first 3 lines and then says that he's also dumb in the 4th (again with an idiom), and kinda in a mean manner (in my view each subsequent line is more aggressive than the previous). Also she doesn't break the character so that it makes it both hilarious and somewhat creepy. Literally that's "You don't have everyone at home/You've got someone missing in your house" (an idiom in Russian meaning smthing like "you're nuts", I guess it's not too aggressive yet), "You're not friends with your head" (inadequate, unreasonable, kinda rougher IMO) "Your roof is gone/slid away" ("you're insane" even more aggressively, I guess) "You've got only one cerebral convolution/gyrus and it's all straight" (basically "you're dumb"). I wonder if the Australian (???) idioms also have this build up in aggressiveness and if they all mean the same thing.

Just so you know, That insanity is Finland... This comment I got from the original videos comments: "Aksim Taio Reunin: I did a little digging. This music video has been in the works for over 2 years. At least the shots from Finland are that old as you guys worked with Silent Paprika Films in June 2019, the midsummer week! Those are Tuusula's lakes and swamps! You had business here in Finland back then anyways (Nummirock) so well done with the music video!" Aand on that note, check out the tale of Kalevala as this insanity sequence reminded me from that story.

Okay, so if anyone missed it. We have a saying here when someone is acting crazy or foolish or reckless or believed to be crazy we say "they have a few kangaroos loose in the top paddock". Also when someone says "the wheel is spinning but the hamster's carked it" it means someone is acting foolishly or absent mindedly. The driveway one I'm not familiar with so it could be regional. Basically she's saying his dreams mean he is crazy. Also vegemite can be amazing but very few people outside of Oz use it right.

@TheKotofoto3 жыл бұрын
Overall she said that he is crazy and stupid, with 3 idioms. 1. "You are crazy" - literally "not all are in your home" (home here means rather mind or head, which is incomplete) 2. "You are dumbo", or "you are fool", literally "you and your head are not in friendly relationships" 3. "You are stupid" - literally "You have the only brain convolution, and it's straight"

From my perspective as a Russian speaker - first Tati's phrase (You don't have everyone at home) is a neutral way to say someone's crazy, second one really feels ruder telling this person about his own head and that he's not friends with it, third one is again neutral (roof gone), fourth one is again ruder as it is personal and telling he's nuts. Not quite sure if this sequence implies additional sense. However, I'm struggling to understand, what exactly was his last phrase in this story??
@garycoates49873 жыл бұрын
