Forging ANUBIS Sword out of Rusty Hook

Hola, Hope you are enjoying my videos i made Anubis "ANKH" style Cane sword. The ankh or key of life is an ancient Egyptian hieroglyphic symbol used in Egyptian art and writing to represent the word for "life" and, by extension, as a symbol of life itself. The ankh has a cross shape but with a teardrop-shaped loop in place of a vertical upper bar. I did almost 4 failed castings and at fifth i get desired results. Share your thoughts how's the project? Good job ... but the ANKH or key of life is more oval .. not square .. but still a good job i think you make a fantasy sword because if you want to make Egyptian sword just mak a kopish sword .. going to be more challenging and saving you more materials and its going to be usable ... as Egyptian I can say you make a good job good luck with your next project

as a bladesmith myself, I find the design somewhat questionable in terms of practicality and balance, but I'm not holding the sword. in terms of creativity and quality of craftsmanship, absolutely gorgeous build, very meticulous and impressive :)

Smithing, lost wax casting, sand casting, and lapidary skills are all considered different disciplines. I enjoy watching a lot of videos, and TV series such as Forged in Fire, but I have never before seen such a variety of skills from one person. My hat's off to you, Sir. Absolutely lovely peace you did honestly I love Anubis so much this is beautiful craftsmanship, and at the same time I've noticed when I'm looking at this sword it actually is a resemblance to one based off a game too a mobile game called Dislyte. And the character drew Anubis, has the exact same main weapon which is interesting and I actually love all of it unfortunately the game has kind of went sideways at the moment with updates and stuff but still the character and the build of every bit of it is spot on. And also I love the video content you did of this absolutely 10 out of 10 Love it. 100%
