I can see now how much he has inspired artists through out the years with his charisma and stage presence. Been a fan of Adam Lambert since American Idol and no wonder he was called an embodyment of Elvis, heck even Freddie Mercury was inspired by Elvis. This man is truly every performer’s inspiration to get the same reaction and love from your audience. Outstanding human being who was taken from the world way before his time.

OMG! It is the exact same for me. For three decades I didn't know anything about Elvis. I knew some songs and liked them but this movie has totally transformed my life. I was always a MJ fan (and still am. Always). However, I now realise before we had the King of Pop, we had the King of Rock & Roll who absolutely paved the way for everyone since. I have seen the movie twice and am counting the days for the dvd release. I have been watching interviews and live performances - cannot get enough. Now, I'm reading a biography which is incredibly written & highly recommend (Elvis: destined to die young by Sally A. Hoedel). There is a playlist on my phone that I am pretty sure is going to kill the phone its played so much 😅 In all seriousness though, I feel very protective of Elvis. He is in my circle now and I will honour his memory until the end. My future kids will know his music before they are even born; know all about him and see his films (Blue Hawaii is my favourite right now!). Elvis has inspired me to remastering the Guitar too and I certainly will. Thank you for giving us so much Elvis. The world misses you beyond words but we will continue your legacy for centuries. ❤️❤️

Even though I didn't like the Elvis movie for how formulaic I thought it was, it opened me up to Elvis' music and live performances. I had always heard about how important he was to the history of rock 'n roll and never really got it, but seeing these recorded live performances truly demonstrates why he was so damn good. The man OWNS the stage, and has a swagger like no other

I am in my 30's this Elvis Guy mybe the coolest guy that ever walked the planet. The looks, the voice, the style.

For as much as I love Elvis this video brings me to tears. This is such a beautiful but yet sad performance. He looks so tired as if he's just going through the motions. His mind and body is so high on drugs that he looks like he could fall any minute. But yet he's singing with every once of soul in his body. One of Gods greatest gift was giving Elvis a voice. If only he knew how much he was loved and the lives he touched.

He gave everything. Everything. And you say bitter words. How? I don't understand

You're a pitiful elvis fan.

@@erin.isawesome I don't think you understand my comment. My point was that even through all the drug problems and personal problems his voice never failed. But not just he was just a human dealing with human problems and using his gift to express himself

@@erin.isawesome before you say anything about me being a pitiful fan know this. Elvis was my hero growing up I modeled my clothing and my dancing from him. He was everything to me. But the reality is this that he had his issues and that's not all his fault.
@willhumphrey12882 жыл бұрын
@@erin.isawesome this man had issues and the problem is people want to put him on a pedestal. But he was just a man with real issues. He dealt with drug issues and marriage issues like many. My point of the commit is to show that even through all the hardships he was still a good man and was wronged by many but his voice never failed
