Oldtimer Hakseldag Dalen | Classic Maize Spectacle 2023

Sunday October 8th the annual Dutch 'Old-timer Hakseldag Dalen' event (Oldtimer chopping day Dalen) took place once more in the province of Drenthe. Numerous classic self propelled harvesters from brands such as Farmhand, Avco New Idea, John Deere, Hesston, New Holland and Mengele could be seen in action. Plenty of mounted machines and some trailed harvesters were also working. Of course a lot of classic tractors were used to cart the crop to 2 clamps.
The fields were a little treacherous in places resulting in stuck tractors and equipment, much to the amusement of the drivers and the public! Keep an eye out for those images...
