"Table by the Window" is a compelling part of "Separate Tables," a duo of one-act plays by Terence Rattigan set in post-war Britain. I liked the World's Worst Waitress at the beginning. The drama is very much just about the main characters' relation to each other though, and they would benefit from getting over themselves a bit!

Ive noticed tthat a lot of these old plays feature privileged women terrified of losing their looks.
