Air Date:05.10.1951 ( May 10, 1951) Plot:+ "Death On My Hands". Sponsored by: Auto-Lite. A southern musician accidentally kills a young girl and has to face a lynch mob in a small town. + Death On My Hands is the story of an accidental death and an attempted escape. When bandleader Dixie played by Phil Harris takes his band to a small town he meets his old love Julia played by Alice Faye. Later in the changing room a young girl named Emily asks for his autograph. He tells her he will send her an up-to-date photograph but she wants to show her friends that she got his autograph and she snatches for his suitcase where she sees a photo. In his case he has a gun, which he carries for protection and it accidentally goes off killing the girl.
