The one who remembered the incident and shared it exactly how it happened, he stole the ring. Notice Mrs. Killdare did not tell Peters where she kept the ring and when she noticed the ring was gone. Peters who narrated this story did see where she kept it.

A little better than the first version (which isn't saying much). A few more recognizable actors, a few differences. Not very good.
