This was definitely one of the more unpleasant episodes of dragnet, along with the Claude Jimerson episode and big filth and two or three others, the ones where a child is lost, despite the seriousness of those programs. Dragnet was one of the best programs, Jack Webb was an innovator RIP Mr. Webb

This was a terribly sad episode. Wish Friday and Smith had been a bit comforting to the sister. The mil was an awful woman. Why was this was called the big TV?
