I listened to this play a couple of days ago and it also had the same stars but the plot was different. Kendall decided to claim all the properties that were signed over to her and gave her 'husband ' pocket change to eat. They got together in the end but by a completely different path. Weird.

I don’t know. I love the duo! Love the thin man. But this chemistry just didn’t seem right. Maybe it was just the story. In other news, for the longest time that I’ve been listening to these soap operas, I never have put two and two together that my grandma probably was influenced by the Lux facials in that every morning she would make sure to wash her face with a bar of soap Rinse it with water and Pat. She must’ve heard the instructions lol

Sort of reminds me of Frankenstein's creation, with the square face and high hair line--and ears minus the scars. In the Lux picture, of course. This was presented on another channel. The plot was the same but the details were completely different. Kendall decided to keep all of the properties that were signed over to her and kept her husband on pocket change to eat in order to pressure him to uphold the marriage. The minister not having the power to marry them was not in the plot. It wasn't the same stars. The other one had Rosalind Russell instead of Myrna Loy. Brian Ahearn was the male lead. It was presented on screen directors playhouse
