This is a story for the guys (after all, remember it's 1950's sci-fi). Drunk hunters find a trap left by an alien. The trap is really a transmitter, and the alien has sent his wife down to be hunted. This is good fun, but there are better X-1 stories. (from "The Critical X Minus One" by Jim Fanisher)
