Regarding top speed: Shift earlier. I see a lot of people shift really late but the torque in redline usually aint it so you slow down a lot if you shift wrong

I’m a new to Forza player, been in the franchise for a several months now and absolutely enjoyed it, so I wanted to buy a key and play FM7 in a few days, simply to test that previous FM experience before the launch of FM8. So I wanted to know if online is alive and does it have enough players? Judging by the video, online is still full. Is it a normal full lobby or do you have to wait for such lobby for a decade? I’m asking coz FH4 also has active player base in the multiplayer but waiting times are killing me. And a lot of game modes are already dead by now. The only thing worth playing right now is ranked. So is the situation in FM7 better?

I'm still stuck on the fact people get mad over people using a certain car in a certain class... Maybe it's because I stopped playing these kinds of forza games and instead play horizon ones as I love the fact I can make a mini cooper fly across the countryside. Like I've never seen nor heard a unwritten rule in those games. Everyone uses what they want and has a laugh looking at that one guy in a bright pink lambo getting destroyed by my dumb ass in a mini. The stradale is the ultimate meta on many tracks in the fm7 in rivals and manily in online, so I stopped caring about people who use and abuse this car in lobbies cuz we know this person is a super try hard/cheap/ first placing thirsty kind of person. I began to use very uncommon cars on lobbies and found that are actually a few cars that can do very good on some specific race tracks. For example: If I take the Taurus (its the latest version, I dont remember if it is an svt) and tune it to around 500kw you can do super well in the match to a point where you can do 2-3 sec faster than everybody. The Hyundai Veloster N if swapped to v6 and have its engine tuned to max power in A class can do super well in high speed tracks such as ovals and the le mans without the bus stops The rest (except for high power AWD heavy SUV's because they are reeeeally useless) is pretty much just regular stuff, you wont get to podium often unless you drive godlike and face lobbies full of noobies. These cars are there and are meant to be used. Over time, you will get better with some cars, notice how they behave and change your driving style for each vehicle. Unfortunately most of the people just care about gettin im the first place thus they will 9/10 pick the meta cars, but because I like to differ a little, I chose this path of boring and unknown but fun world of more normal cars
