Cross Canadian Ragweed has a song called, “You’re always 17 in you’re hometown.” . I wished, Congratulations too someone that I graduated from high school with (on FB), almost 40 years ago. She basically gave this school district her whole adult life. I’m proud of her, and her husband. (They were lovebirds in high school). Basically, you are always going to be dealing with your past. Just try to live the happiest life you can, and try not to judge yourself or others to harshly.

Watching this, I'm in a way, glad I didn't go to my neighborhood high school, instead took 3 CITY buses to go downtown to a magnet tech school.that was largely honors curriculae (36 curriculae, in fact). I can see 3 more effing years of junior high in that neighborhood HS. The kids in my HS weren't like these cocky idiots. Some were from very poor colored neighborhoods and were very nice young and very successful people in the making.
