Ole Miss and Arkansas played a winner take all bracket game 7 at the 2022 College World Series. The winner would advance to play Oklahoma in the College World Series Finals, starting Saturday night at 7PM ET.

Sec is way better than any other conference and is the hardest to play in lmao Also the 4 teams that “they sent” to Omaha won their regionals and then super regionals and then got to go to Omaha it wasn’t garunteed and the other sec schools that got a chance to go to Omaha deserved it bc like I said it’s the hardest conference to play in and no other conference compares… Oklahoma is gonna find that out when they move to the sec and so is Texas lol

Holding the Hogs to 4 hits, no runs is just insane. Perhaps the best pitching performance I've ever seen at this level, with so much at stake, against perhaps the best offense in the tournament. Absolutely mind-boggling.

Ironically , the first time I heard it was from an old ESPN Documentary about Herschel Walker's Georgia Bulldogs chanting S-E-C after they beat Florida to claim the conference title in 1980.

First of all, Wheels is still the shit! Secondly, what a f**k*ng game! I followed the Vols this season since I live in Knoxville and was impressed by stellar pitching and powerful hitting. Their shaky defense always concerned me. Tennessee attracted many enemies with their arrogance, taunting and boyish behavior. Tony Vitello will need to create an atmosphere of respect moving forward. I'm so glad I watched these highlights to see what real defense looks like. Some of these players will cause MLB starters to look over their shoulder in the next season or two. Good luck to Ole Miss as the remaining SEC squad from an impressive three of four in the semis.

Wood bats, please. MLB should subsidize the money needed for wood bats. MLB has an interest in developing these players as these are the future MLB players. So to get the players trained in using wood should be of great interest to MLB.

Imagine how unentertaining that would be… The players that get drafted use wood bats in double and triple a before going to the major’s and that’s what gets them ready but also I’m sure all of these dudes know how to use a wood bat and have been in wood bat tournaments lol The balls just wouldn’t be hit as deep or as hard and it wouldn’t be as fun to watch…..

@@baseball3106 The problem is that many college hitters go to the minor leagues and they find that they are ineffective hitters with a wood bat. Those hitters will fail to make the majors and in effect, waste the parent team's investment in those players. But had they known those hitters couldn't hit well with wood, they could have drafted another player. Hence, it would be wise if the MLB knew how a hitter handles wood before they draft him, and therefore, the idea that the MLB subsidize the colleges with wood would be of great benefit to the MLB.
