I watched your video last evening. Took my problem switch apart this morning the way you demonstrated, it works like a new one!!! Thank you. Fred

My grizzly was not shifting from 2 wd to 4wd. Followed your directions and fixed it in 5 minutes. Hardest part is getting the ball bearings placed on the springs during assembly. Thanks for the video 👍👍👍

My Kodiak 450 2003 was shifting ramdomly 4x2 to 4x4 and diff lock ligth starts blinking, so I tried this and it works! Apparently the corrotion avoid the switch to have contact with the electric tablet of the wires. Nice video!

Awesome content!! I have a 450 and 660 Rhino, both have sat years. Both ran to where they sit. Put new batteries in both. Both are dead stick. No N light, no lights, no NOTHING! Power to hot side of solenoid, nothing past there. Common sense says it is corrosion somewhere,and most likely, same problem on both buggies. Zero power at ANY fuse and zero behind the key switch. I didn't bother jumping across solenoid as obviously there is a bigger problem than just starting. TIA !!

Thank you. I was having a problem with my 2016 Kodiak switching into and out of 4wd without touching the switch. I asked my dealer about it and they gave the same advise as your video. Worked . Thanks again.

Thanks for your videos. Great help! After all the tests, my difflock light is still flashing, and not engaging to difflock. The previous owner thought he may have shorted something out. I notice that some difflock leads come out of the cdi box. Could it be possible that I may need to replace it to fix my problem? Thanks!!!
@501PartsTech3 жыл бұрын
Mike, yes that is very possible. The CDI does have a play in the 4wd system. It will put the machine into limp mode if you are halfway between 4wd diff lock with diff lock not being fully engaged.
@mikecochrane20743 жыл бұрын
@@501PartsTech Ok. So that would be why it cuts out and doesn't run right when switched to difflock.... Got it! How do you feel about the aftermarket boxes? Really can't afford an OEM.
@501PartsTech3 жыл бұрын
@@mikecochrane2074 Yes, That depends on what you are trying to do with the machine. I have seen it go both ways with aftermarket boxes. I always stick with OEM if possible.

My 2005 Yamaha Grizzly won't go into 4x4 when I push the button, the locker button won't make noise either. I'll be trying this first light tomorrow. It seems unlikely both motors could have gone out simultaneously. Hope it works! Great video.

Question. I just replaced the battery on my Yamaha 660. After a few days, it won't start. When you start it, you have to step on the break, and then turn the key to start. I have noticed over several months that I have to really step hard on the brake pedal to start the engine. What do you think I need? Could it be a starter relay?

Adjust the switch on the brake that tells the machine the brake is pressed

501Parts Customer Support thank you I will try some of these steps. I watched all your videos on the front differential. I checked the servo it is definitely working and I slid the front diff fork to make sure it was engaging I have not tested the relays yet also someone cut and spliced the wiring harness plugs to the servo I would like to verify the wires are correct so do you know what’s what on that also what make no sense is if I unplug the display I don’t hit the speed limiter.
