On Test A, i am sure, the LCD one was a Samsung QLED. They messed up sharpness pretty much when they tried to give the panel a better image if looked at off-center. On test B, i'm pretty sure they either did not bother with calibrate the color on the LCD panel correctly, or it was again a Samsung QLED, because they don't do the best job in color recreation. As for the sound: Thats not a strength of OLED, its a strength of Sony. Also, they did not bother in showing the weaknesses of OLED at all. How about very bright scenes? How about Testing the visual Quality on a brightly lit room? This was a series of Tests, to brainwash people.

5:50 - The reason I would PREFER LCD OVER OLED in 2019 is because of burn-in problems with OLED TV's, when I spend $2000+ on anything, I would expect it to last at least 7-8 years, but with burn-ins a huge problem caused due to the organic part of OLED displays, you will be lucky if your display lasted for 4 years.

Samsung made QLED TVs, they use LCD panels with the color, quality, and blacks as OLED, so there is no burn-in.

OLEDs last more than 4 years. Burn in is only caused if the same thing is displayed on the TV for long periods. It's literally not an issue at all.

Anything that's organic based in nature breaks down much faster. Oled is no different when this applies. Colors and brightness degrade over short periods of time. Burns are more likely but have improved unlike the other factors I've said about oled. Longevity and not having to babysit a panel matters more to me than bragging about my black levels on a panel. To me a panel needs to last more than 10yrs in order for me to drop a couple of grand on it to justify its quality.

I have a XR and my friend has a X, we compared the screens and all the difference we could really see is in the dark. You can see quite a bit of the backlight of the XR in dark rooms but with the X its bit darker (you can still the the difference between the notch and the screen though)

My first device with an oled display was the Samsung Galaxy S7 and omfg I fell in love with it. It's one of those things that you have a hard time wondering if it's worth the extra few dollars or not, but then you realize, once you get it, you'll never look the other way again! There's no turning back! One of the main features I worry about when purchasing a phone is the screen, that's just me. And oled is better than lcd in almost every way possible. I'm typing this comment on my Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra! The display on it is still as beautiful as it was on my S7. It's one of those things where you say "If it ain't broke then don't fix it". It's simply perfect.

OLED is great at everything you get screen burn-ins. Good for short video watching. LED is getting better over time, but it doesn't have deep blacks. No screen burn-in. Good for long-term use. You just saw a random guy talking about stuff you weren't interested in lol

They aren't gonna mention the problem with burn in on OLED TV's where it's possible for images to be burned in permanently into the display. This happens on things like logo, clocks and other stationary objects on TV. Also test videos like they were playing don't represent typical TV shows and games.

oled is bad if ur a heavy gamer or tv user. Consumer friendly phone companies don't use them as they are prone to burn in when watching the same static images frequently. Like 6months to year of watching yt vids or news on high brightness. lcd is self healing. we r years from even 4k being standard. doubt oled will become standard ever as it's wayy too expensive and isn't dropping below 500 anytime soon .

Can you try the hp pavilion 27 inch computer IV been really wanting that computer but it cost like a thousand dollars really expensive but I saw it on wish and it was 500 dollars big drop but when I saw it got me thinking if I order this computer thats 500 hundred dollars could it break in the shipping prosses or could the sound be affected also the wording or even could it show up as different software.
