I'm headed to Jackson in 2 months. I'm super pumped to avoid every single one of these trails.

You're a rational soul. In short supply but desperately needed! I gazed down Corbet's years ago. Vaguely tempted, but I like my knees and legs. Watched two guys do 40/60 - very impressive, though they were immediately accosted by ski patrol and, I believe, permanently banned from JH.
@sam_s_4 жыл бұрын
@@polcommwatcher What do you mean 40/60?
@polcommwatcher4 жыл бұрын
@@sam_s_ There's a cliff jump, best seen from the Sublette chair, where the first drop is about 40 feet to a ledge, then another 60 foot plunge to a steep landing and down to the Laramie Traverse. From what I understand, locals call it 40/60. I call it Nuts!

I think, in terms of the guys putting the content out there on social media, its dudes like Owen Leeper, Nikolai Schirmer, Markus Eder, Teton Brown and the greatest of them all (IMO) Candide Thovax, who are continuously pushing the boundaries of what is considered possible and providing the inspiration for younger skiers to follow in their ski tracks.... much respect and admiration to all these guys!!
