how 659 at range phalanx is defeated by 857 at cav phalanx , is that because of stat differences or because its the best way to counter? I have a report and both side have almost similar artifact stat and castle stars but the result difference was huge and similar familiar as well.

When you stay in range phalanx, your cavalry is going ahead of infantry (because basically cavalry is faster, then infantry). But, as long your range stays alive, then closer approaches infantry towards enemy’s troops (and at some point, infantry will be in front of cav). So, whoever has less range, will win retargeting by putting cavalry in front of infantry. Hope I explained that clear and correctly)
