In her research, Olena Kondratiuk focuses on relationships within families of Ukrainian refugees. She has conducted around 60 interviews with Ukrainian women in Poland, documenting how the full-scale invasion has changed family dynamics. Currently, Olena is working on archiving these testimonies for scholarly use.
In this video, Olena Kondratiuk talks about how personal biases and war experiences may affect interviews, the processing of sentimental data, and Ukrainian scholars being both subjects and objects of wartime research.
