I would NEVER have expected it to give you a jump scare with that cartoony simple look it has, but I'd probably be scared shitless same as you lol! it has a lot of interesting mechanics as well, the idea of rotating the map to disorient the player is super cool. I really like that this one lets you go slow-paced. I could never get into Dome Keeper cause the time constraints just stressed me out, and this seems a lot more suited to me. Definitely going to check it out.

The way to get resources reminds me of Dome Keeper but underwater. Dome Keeper had a tower defense element that added an additional layer i kinda liked.

05:30 Silt, not slit. It’s just a thin dirt that gets spread out in the water when it’s disturbed. It’s a common problem encountered while diving, particularly when cave diving since you are confined to that area and you can’t just swim upward to escape it. People die all the time cave diving because they make a mistake or panic, disturb silt, and then can’t find the exit because they can’t see 2 inches in front of their mask.

Idk if you noticed but glow sticks seem to retain normal gravity, so should you get your orientation thrown off by a tentacle dropping on will cause it to fall to the floor meaning the opposite direction is up.
