Yes, Pleyel pianos of the time should sound dark and mellow though to my humble opinion not TOO mellow! there are 2 restorers who favor too mellow sound. Others mostly like mellow and some want a bright sound like a modern piano from a Pleyel!

@@josephcosentino3125 Dear...I wish I had a lot of them in playing order and could give you one. I am selling these one by one to feed the rest (mainly 18th century pianos) for an elevated mission.
