Hi Yolanda, I"m so glad you like it! Oftentimes crochet garments require lots of detailed work (increases and decreases, sewing the details together, etc), so I really wanted to create a pattern that would be easy to execute, yet provide a good fit. I really like how this cardigan turned out, and I'm so glad others like it too! Thank you for your comment!

Olga, love your new cozy looking cardi. What hook are you using? I would like to try the longer hooks but can never find them. I did find the longer ergonomic bamboo hooks. I really like those. Maybe you can recommend a comfy hook? I have severe arthritis and after ten years of avoiding all things crochet, I jumped back into it wholeheartedly. It actually has helped to keep my hands active. I crochet a lot, though, since I’m home on disability. The main problem is hand fatigue and hand/wrist pain. I know that I can’t get rid of it completely, but I just wondered what was the best hook for hand pain, etc., that you’ve tried?
@OlgaPoltava3 жыл бұрын
Hi Laurel, I'm sorry to hear you struggle with severe arthritis. I don't use any special hooks, I have a set of Boye aluminum hooks, and I use those all the time. I don't get any hand pain or fatigue, but if I crochet for too long and don't take breaks, my back starts hurting. Unfortunately I can't really recommend any hooks.

Why on earth can you not do it any slower what is the point of a video if we can't follow the needed steps
@OlgaPoltava2 жыл бұрын
First, you need to learn communicating with other people in a polite and respectful manner. Second, I make my video tutorials as additional visual help for the people who value my work and who purchase my written patterns. Have you purchased my pattern? Or are you one of those entitled people who believe that the world owes them things for free? Third, KZbin gives the option of watching any video at slower (or faster) pace. Before making your comment, you should have checked the settings on the video.
