yes, Ternopil was one of my favorite cities (+odessa + lviv) of ukraine when I was there. it is small but absolutely beautiful, with a nice, calm and lovely atmosphere. I recomment everyone to spent some days there.

@josedomitilo8058 жыл бұрын
how was Sumy? I will be going there in a couple months.
@skyywarp-kc2prn8 жыл бұрын
+Joes Sumy is very very nice and beautiful. You can fly int Kharkiv or Kiev to get to Sumy by bus. Make sure you get 300-400uah (Ukrainian money which is equivalent to 20-35 usd). It maybe more for the bus and it will take 2-3 hours for Kiev. Don't know about Kharkiv. The country side is beautiful to see and the roads well I will let you find out lol. The main thing is be cool and friendly. Don't be a jerk cause it doesn't pay lol. Enjoy your trip. And i am in Google, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Flickr and whatever social media I have and forgot if you want to chat more. Later

Ternopil is such a lovely and peaceful city....so green and quite! Thanks Olga for taking us there. PS I was curious so I did a little research and found out the beautiful and unusually styled church in the beginning of your video has a interesting history. It's had several different names, it is now an active Ukrainian Greek-Catholic church called "Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception of the Holy Mother of God."
@Olga_Reznikova8 жыл бұрын
oh, thanks... yes, this church looks very awesome.. And I filming it from inside also)))

I watched the video ( I was not sure which church you filmed in), it's nice to know what the inside looks like as well...it was beautiful!
@Hiker11758 жыл бұрын
If i may make a suggestion... it would be interesting for your viewers if you would state the name of the church, the religious denomination (Catholic, Orthodox...) and the year it was built whenever you video a church. Thanks Olga... i enjoy your Vlogs!

it was the scene of a horrific battle in ww2, where the German garrison was ordered to stand fast for months, until under relentless assaults by the red army was given permission to attempt a breakout, 45 men of the original 4,600 would make it out alive. Pretty horrendous casualty rate

Hello, Olga. My wife and I are considering visiting Lviv from the United States in October. I would assume that ATM machines there have an option for Latin characters as well as Cyrillic, but wanted to make sure. Also, I saw a news story about a government protest in Kiev the other day. I wondered if that is something that happens a lot and if it safe to be in a city when those protests take place. Thank you for posting your videos. We come to Europe every year and try to do as much research as we can before we get there and your videos are very helpful.
@Olga_Reznikova8 жыл бұрын
+Joel S Hi! Yes, I think every ATM has ENlgish language ( at least, all which I use have it)... About protest... I didn't hear, but there always can be some protests and it's normal)) they are mostly time very peacful... only relovutio was very dangerous, but just protests are normal))
@moreblueye8 жыл бұрын
Thank you for the fast reply. We were also wondering if it is common for people in Lviv to speak English. In most of the places that we have been to in Europe it hasn't been a problem. It is always nice to be able to speak with the people we meet when we go to new places.

Very beautiful city... It looks very European, like a city you'd see in Germany, or Austria, or Poland. It didn't seem to have very much of that Soviet architecture from the days of communism. I like it when you take us to places around Ukraine. I think the camera phone effect is kind of cool.

Вот так разрушаются пропагандистские мифы о вражде между народами scontent-lhr3-1.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t1.0-9/13177694_603305466490378_1268794690540405411_n.jpg?oh=dba743967cafa97bef2400335c16d9bf&oe=579E04E5 scontent-lhr3-1.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t1.0-9/13233008_647258328766823_1332022490019148928_n.jpg?oh=f0eb7ae1b1de8114edad8039053ffc0f&oe=57D612F7
