`Thanks for the brief on Poland Olga! I have had brief stays in Poland for the last 3 years while coming and going to Ukraine. I found the Polish people to extremely nice. I've stayed with a number of hotels and apartments. Everyone has always been helpful.I 'm going back for a 4th 90 day stay in Ukraine earlier than in the past. Ukraine has a 90/180 day visa rule that works like the European Schengen 90/180day visa stay rule. Maybe because I'm an old man but I am confused about how the 90/180 day rule works. I entered Ukraine 15 July 2023 and stayed exactly 90 days leaving Ukraine October 12. No problem at the border when I left. At the moment, my 2025 plan has me entering Ukraine 10 April 2025, and leaving Ukraine 30 June 2025. 10 April is only 90 days past 12 October 2024. Olga, or anyone please help me. Am I going to be in violation of the Ukrainian 90/180 day visa rule? I have already spent $1850 for an airplane ticket! I'm freaking out :(((((

The old truth history is saved in the East Poland. If you seeker of the truth, you will find out, once you will want to search for it. The West Ukraine is more closer to East Poland then East Ukraine. That's the fact. Historical Fact. And it isn't about the territory.

I have been to Kiev few times. Completely different vibe than Warsaw. Even though many communist buildings are in both places, I agree, but generał architecture look and feel is more Western Europe vs Eastern. Kiev has plenty of oriental and orthodox design details. And Soviet architecture is not the same there. Also infrastructure feel is different especially nowadays, maybe 20 years ago it was kind of similar. New roads, pavements, busses, trams in Warsaw after EU accession... Kiev doesn't have this 18-19 century city substance, especially palaces, administration sites, that are typical for European cities. There is also no market square medevial type. The only city in Ukraine that resembles Poland is Lwów, for obvious reasons, hundreds years of Polish culture and architecture. Kiev is also bigger than Warsaw, bigger scale, spaces, distances are bigger. What is more similar to me is people. Young educated dynamic crowd, not old Soviet babushka, may look kind of similar...

In my observation, Ukrainians and belarusians comming to Poland choose Warsaw instead of smaller cities and towns that can offer them much more than Warsaw. Warsaw is expensive compared with even nearby Łódź. It's difficult to save money and buy a flat in Warsaw, meanwhile you can get simmilar salary in katowice or Łódź and live in 2x bigger flat for same number of money.

Usually people have misconception about Islam, even muslims too. To follow islamic rules if someone really knows from Quran then it all in wivies favour. More restrictions and responsibilities for husbands. Those who seems following islam are basically following culture not true islam as per Quran. Thanks

You have made few mistakes. Poland took 4,5 milion Ukrainian refugees, one milion stayed in Poland, and 1,5 milion of Ukrainians already lived in Poland before full scale invasion. Hi rise blocks you have showed were build during soviet occupation and 90ties. In present days we dont make buildings bigger than 8 levels above ground. You should take a trip to wilanów and see the districts build during last 35 years. The only similarity between Kiev and Warsaw I can see are spaces between buildings, big green spaces with sandy beaches on the east side of river, reservoirs north to warsaw and kiev, and forrests located north west of both cities. Kiev looks like failed Warsaw, with overbuilt balconies, crashed pavements and lacking even one tramway line connecting the city by dnipro. There are towns and cities that can offer you much higher standard of living in Poland than warsaw just becouse wasn't so much damaged during ww2. For example nearby Lódź can offer twice cheaper rent with more comfortable city planning and plenty of well preserved postindustrial herritage

I’m not sure why some of you guys are disagreeing with Olga. Everything that she is saying is accurate. I’ve been living in Ukraine since 2016; I speak both Russian and Ukrainian fluently. Many, many women have told me that there are simply fewer men to date. Especially women in the 30-35 age range feel urgency to find a husband and start a family. And it is true, at any moment a Ukrainian guy can be taken off the street and sent to basic training. I know this, because they tried to take me one day. Ukrainian women often say that they want to feel that with their husband they are behind a stone wall. How can she feel this way if her man can be taken away at any moment?

I'm from the US. I've never been to Ukraine or to Poland. But I used to watch someone who was American, born in Ukraine when it was USSR, became a permanent resident of Ukraine and then the war started and he and his wife moved to Poland and for like a year and a half I think maybe less than that I used to follow him and he used to post the similarities and the differences as he looked for a place for them to settle down in Poland and then they did. And then he posted a couple of videos of him going to other countries. He went back to Kyiv, He went to the capital of Moldova He went to Cypress and one other place I can't remember Maybe it was Serbia but I don't remember and then he just completely disappeared. And I really miss him. But he said he was coming back but he didn't. He also changed the name of his channel but we were still watching it at the time so we were subscribed and changing the name didn't cause a problem. Now I see my next suggested video is from him and it looks as if I haven't watched it but I'm sure that I have, back in 2022. Anyway I don't know if I was yes I was. I was subscribed to you still, but I had the bell turned off and I just turned it back on. If you're going to go around Warsaw or Poland and do comparisons, I absolutely want to watch that. :-) Are you still living in the UK? I stopped paying attention when you were in someone's attic and suddenly you were in a house of your own it seemed. Anyway it's time for my medical drama so I must run. Looking forward to seeing more Poland. And now I understand why he was saying that it was a lot like Ukraine. Wow I can't believe that this medical drama theme song is as long as it is. But still I have to go. I did get through the entire video though Oh I don't know if I liked it. Let me go back and do that

It seems to me that most of the Central European countries have a 99% homogeneous population, bonded by language and culture. In Western Europe this fenomena is in strong decline, with associating problems.

I was talking to a Polish Kameradan last night & we were speaking about how life in Warsaw pact & the 3 years required by citizens or jail!! In jail there is nothing good & working for free on subsistance level! The only thing that really enrages me that countries like Germany are whining about Losses of economy & willing to fight to the last Ukrainian!!The Leopard tanks given to Ukraine &F-16 given by US are not even best modern equipment!!And now 650000 Ukraine casualties have happened not (dead& injured) not even counting those captured & release d they criticize the war as a problem of Ukraine which is there trying to join NATO!!Theyare acting like better but far worse! Even Russian Federation soldiers are fighting for the Motherland & Warsaw is fighting with the largest contingency of weapons given where as England ,France & Germany did not push for victory ,but stood by for free oul pipeline.
