I have this unit on my Glock 19. I decided not to zero at a particular distance, but instead to use parallel zeroing, where the beam hits the same distance below the bullet as the laser is mounted below the muzzle. This way I have a consistent offset at all distances.

Smart idea my man. It’s only 2 inches max maybe sometimes even less between laser beam and muzzle. That way it will be consistent.

1badhorsie idk i would like to know as well. I just bought on on amazon for $129 it’s not the pro it’s the RL version so it’s red laser . It was between this and the tlr 8 . For my Glock 19. I like the tlr cuz it’s flush with the 19 but since it’s just a home defense gun and range gun I like the baldr and it’s almost $60 less ! Excited to receive it on Thursday and check it out!!

OnMyGrizzle I haven’t really tried the laser at any distant other than like 7 yards . Inside the house pretty much. It’s on perfect even after shooting and the range at stuff . So haven’t had problems with that.

I put one of these on my Glock 19 Gen 5 MOS. Holy shit, it's blinding bright, strobe is awesome and the green laser....it's the most powerful laser I have ever seen. All for $150. I'm telling you, hit a home intruder with a 1300 lumens strobe light and green laser...watch how fast it takes the fight out of them.

This light looks great but I wonder if anyone can confirm if the 90 seconds at 1300 lumens is once per set of fresh batteries or if when you turn the light off (and assumingly let it cool down), you'll get a fresh 90 seconds at 1300?

1:25 - 1:55 Ya'll should do more night shooting, especially using a laser/light attachment. It's pretty cool to see the approximate area you're aiming at and to see how much the laser jumps from recoil from your point of aim ( .22LR not much jump ,but 9mm Para [and more powerful cartridges] jumps more noticeably).

I've got a Valkyrie Pro (rechargeable). excellent light. and ALL of these tac lights suffer from very short battery life, if you actually use them. I have come to the opinion that a recharge feature like on the Valkyrie pro is a huge plus. I love the execution and compatibility with a tape switch, would love to see the Baldr redesigned to use a tape switch/recharger.

It's great for a daily carry handgun but for me I'd prefer to take a pack of batteries with me in case I'm away from a power source for whatever reason. I keep a whole pack of CR123a's inside my sopmod stock for this reason.

I really am pondering putting this on my AR, I work in law enforcement and have way to much property to really want to rely on just a pistol given how many gangs don't exactly like my agency, a laser and 40 round mag is an easy way to stack the odds in your favor if shtf

I would honestly suggest the PL-Pro over the BALDR due to the option of a pressure switch and slightly more output. Lasers generally wont make a difference on your patrol rifle. (Am LE too, personal experience)

Hi Great video. I mounted one on my pc9 Carbine. Once it is clamped down there is movement in the green dot. The laser/light does not mount solid. Do you know of any fix. Thanks Mark

I'm not happy with my Baldr RL. Falls off my XDM10 after about 10 rounds. It clamps real tight on my Canik FSX but has come off when pulling it out of the holster. Not possible to adjust clamp. I talked to support and they offered to help me with a future purchase.

Yes it will zero and hold a zero just fine. You just need to make sure you zero a laser for the distance you intend to shoot.

The PL Valkyrie Pro is probably the best Pistol light they have. I just don't trust that laser/light combo. Maybe it'll hold zero on my G19X. I know the Mini's won't zero at all. They move up & down as you actuate the switches. However, the PL Valkyrie Pro is the only 1 I trust. Rechargeable, unlike this one.

I just attach it to my weapon stand the distance I want it zeroed at from a wall aim and keep adjusting until laser is on point with iron sights.

It depends. Kydex holster are specific to the gun and light models. Nylon holsters, that are made for a light, will usually fit most gun/light combos.

I got one as a present from a buddy. Build quality feels great, love the ease of attaching it, but there's no way that's 1300 lumens. I have various lights that note 800-900 that are way brighter than this. Even tested a Streamlight with probably half the noted lumens that seemed brighter. Good piece, just misleading in brightness perception.
