Also, I think they should’ve made the battery removable in the case because my guess would be it has the same battery in it as in most of their flashlights the 5000 mA 21700

Great video! Impressive light. I love the form factor of these lights. Perfect for EDC. I have been using a S1R Baton for years and finally upgraded to this one. I am eager to receive it. Watching your review whilst holding my Baton 4 . Decided to attach lanyard to belt clip . Tried to rehouse torch with lanyard still attached. Case doesn’t close ! Not sure if Olight expect users to reattach lanyard every time you need it on the torch ? Just tried to fit belt clip with lanyard attached having taken it off torch to see if it fits into case . No it’s does not. So I am puzzled as the case and torch are superbly designed and made and this belt clip appears to be an after thought

My 2nd comment, more at object, if i may. Lets say the light its in the case. You use the case's button to get about 200 lumens. Then you remove the light, turned on at about 200 lumens- so a custom luminosity- from the case. Does it stay there or it came to 60 or 600? If it stay at 200 and you turn it off, when you turn it on will it come that custom 200 lumens achieved previously through the case?

What is the use case of a small light with a big case, when you could just get a bigger light with more lumens and candela, that is still a smaller overall package?

I like that you charge with USB-C and charge your phone. This saves me a charging cable & portable battery pack when charging. Just depends what your needs are. The warrior 3S is pretty sweet if you’re looking for a bigger light

How does your light look yellowish? If you compare it to older batons, it looks very green in low modes, only high and turbo look cool white... It's still a good light but you would assume they picked up the fact that, almost everyone wants neutral white lights nowadays! Personally I would like neutral white 1000 lumens turbo that can run more than 1.5 mins before stepping down. And I don't understand why they push the lumens higher every time, 1000 is more than enough for EDC! It's made for EDC and/or emergency power outage, not self defense or search and rescue... They have other lights designed specifically for that.

I think to make the charging case more user-friendly they should have put a standard USB port on it so people can charge their phones, I mean, who has a USB-C charging cord for their phones nowadays especially those that have older iPhones I’m still using iPhone X max lol I have the same kit, but I don’t have a USB-C for my phone I guess I gotta hit up Amazon 😂

Type C charging is where its at! Its so much faster than anything else. Thats iphone users problem. They should have gone type C like everyone else.

Its not a big deal but id like Olight to quit lying about wireless charging. Their magnetic charge use 2 wires at each end. One wire is a circle, one is a thick point. Wireless charging involve a coil and a field. Olight might name it plugless charging.

Your measurment is out. Length is 2.4 inches which is 60.96 mm not 23mm. Otherwise great video.

I bought this light in blue and I terrified to keep the case or the light in my pocket I have my keys in there and my traffic metal wallet I wish they used a type of paint that wouldn't wear off

The anodized holds up pretty well. I think the main issue here is it’s made out of aluminum to save weight which means the metal isn’t as hard. A titanium would be pretty cool… probably fix the scratch problem too
