I already have a limited edition Baton 3 Premium and it's great. This new Baton 4 Premium is definitely an upgrade in every way, I'm just not sure if I really need it though, but I do want it! Everything they've done really makes it look more premium.

Nice review! I have way too many flashlights, many of them are Olight but I’m probably going to get this one too. It’s a sickness for sure 😂 Most recently I got the Arkfeld and that one is pretty good for EDC given it carries more like a knife than a round flash light. Like you said they have one of the best interfaces and once you have one Olight you know how to operate all of them.

only downside is a plastic lenses, if youre using turmo mode offten in a dirty conditions, it will melt the lense. ive trashed 2 olights because of that besides that its an amazing light

I just got mine and immediately compared it to the good old S1r Baton 2..tbh I don’t see the lumen difference, in fact the turbo in both gives an edge to the Baton 2, nevertheless it’s a fantastic package and awesome replacement.

I tried to keep mine set at brightest out put. When off you cant one click to brightest setting. It defaults to an output just below brightest output. Other than that its cool. Maybe done for fire hazard reasons.

A word to Olight. The $10 keychain flashlights are much appreciated. However, for the same price point, I would much prefer an additional proprietary charging cable. I think this would be a nice touch to come included with a premium kit like the baton4 and the charging case.

You don’t have to cycle through all the settings. Just a click and the light will turn off. Sorry if that wasn’t clear
