Most green lasers are actually invisible UV lasers with special filters to show green. They can permanently damage vision in just a second or two of exposure

The reason the Arkfeld Ultra is not titanium is because the aluminum alloy they're using has WAY better heat dissipation properties. So you get most of the strength of titanium, while keeping the thermals down.

Ultra has more lumens, glass lense, this aluminum alloy is harder and the color is the oxidized layer so if it gets scratched up it will be also return to that color... how do you do reviews without knowing what you're talking about?

I have scratched it up and its just got white spots where those are. I had to film this before or same day as the release and I can only go off of what they provide me. I looked at the email they sent, no listing was up and my experience with the product, which does not denote any of those things. Just directly compared it to a pro and it seemed identical in performance. Are the extra lumens on turbo or in general on all settings? Glass lens is cool. Thanks for the info!

I just wish the arkfelds had a red light option instead of UV. I get the UV is extremely useful for a lot of professional applications, but for most of us day-to-day, red light for nightime use without affecting nigh vision would be far more useful
