I said in the video that it is carbon fiber and not a sticker over nylon... well, it's actually a bit of both. Not a sticker....but not complete carbon fiber. I'm still good with it and glad it isn't just a cheap sticker.

I don't think this thing is getting the attention it deserves lol. Excluding work site jobs, as an edc light option. Theres nothing else like it. U lees you pay 5-6x the amount for a fancier titanium version. Im so happy with this and G10 bearings good centering axis lock for under 30$ canadian. And asuming kizer is also the OEM. This things a gem.

Thank you! I was thinking the same thing. I couldn't find any videos on it when I was deciding whether I would purchase or not. I went ahead and went for it with my discount and coupon....... but I would gladly pay the asking price for this. It's a great deal. I like having a quality knife that has a utility blade I can just toss away.... makes me use my knife more, if you know what I mean!

@@manuelacosta4495wow! Thanks for the update. I guess people caught on more than we realized! Hopefully Olight will keep these available. Out of all of their knives....this is the one to keep available.

Well done. I picked up one of these and first thing I had to do was modify a new position for another pocket clip. Other then that, this cutter is a tank. Take care.

That’s pretty sweet. I have the Otacle Utility tool but the U1 looks way more functional. Will definitely check it out

They are out of stock at the moment. I hope you can get one. It takes regular utility blades! No need to find special blades.

The best review on this otacle UI. Thank you, you were very helpful. I have been on a edc utility knife hunt for decades. Some nice startups have come and gone, some still around but have been expensive titanium versions for most part defeating the purpose of a edc utilityknife (for me) just assume carry a nice premium knife edc and i do, I have settled on a Gerber eab, outdooredge utilipro and milwaukee fastback compact but stays in toolbag amongest various other places. I look forward to getting mine and a 9tiedc which is very close to Otacle in design and price. Again thanks.

Mate the FISKARS COMPACT PRO.... Is awesome same lock and your fastback BUT seems tighter.... very very neat in the pocket ... 👍🏻 belter of a small BUT strong utility blade knife

@@MTNManReviews Have you tried the FISKARS??.
@MTNManReviews4 ай бұрын
@ste-c1218 I have not had the chance to try it yet. It appears to be a very enjoyable experience. I may give it a try in the future. The Fastback you see in the video was lost during a winter and was found in a gravel pile. The owner of the property returned it to me, and I cleaned it up. It is still in regular use. The Milwaukee Fastback is proving its worth and has definitely been worth the eight dollars I spent on it. It is still going strong, and if I never need to replace it, I will have to consider the Fiskars you mentioned.

Did you have to initially loosen it with a tool?
@MTNManReviews9 ай бұрын
Yes, I did! I should have been clearer on that in the video. I was thinking you would always need a tool.... I only needed my mini pliers the very first time. Now, I have it as tight as I can make it with my fingers while squeezing in on the metal that holds the blade... the screw is staying in place with use and is not coming loose. I'll update if anything changes. Thanks for asking that!

It is actually a plastic G10 with a carbon fiber laminate on top. You should read the description of the product you're reviewing.

One advantage axis lock is better over the fast back those buttons on the fast back and other ones like the kobalt is it won't stick.Those buttons tend to stick after awhile or when adding oil.I have several of the button lock models and they can sometimes stick or become a pain after awhile,just think the axis lock is way more practical but I've not reviewed this bugger yet so we will see.
@MTNManReviews8 ай бұрын
Very true. Thankfully, I haven't had a button lock up on the Fastback. I clean mine up every other week with an air compressor..... maybe knocking all the debris out of there keeps it going? I use mine hard...... and like I said in the video, this Milwaukee got left on a gravel pile for 6 months one winter! I like them both... but the axis-lock will always be my favorite.
