Awesome flashlight! The Warrior 3S seems a bit complicated initially, but it’s actually simpler than it first appears. Being able to set the tail switch for purely tactical mode is really nice, and the 1 lumen mode is incredibly useful for finding stuff in the tent without waking my wife up. My only tip is to avoid the limited edition blue color; it’s not as nice as it looks on the website. But overall, outstanding light!

The other thing that concerns me about this light is the proprietary charging. Is there also a usbc input? If not, the lack of redundancy seems like a risk.

I was thinking the same thing but then decided that being in a marine environment, it was best not to have a USB port on the body anyway.

This light does not have a usb-c port, but Olight does have models that do. USB-C ports are commonly the point of failure for waterproofing, so not having one adds to the reliability. But I get where you’re coming from.

Looking at this light to replace a pelican I have used for years at work. If you hold the light on high or turbo close to a car window to look inside, will the proximity sensor automatically dim the light to a lower setting? I often hold the light close to a car window to prevent glare reflecting off the glass when I’m trying to look inside.

The proximity sensor is rather finicky. I am not 100% certain it would depend on the surface finish, angle, curve, etc. that it is being shined on. I did notice there is this sweet spot with white walls, where if I shined the light - enough was getting reflected back that the proximity sensor would dim the light but then because subsequently the light thought it was now safe and turned back up to the higher setting, which created this weird loop effect.

I would check with that airlines specific policy. I remember reading about this how some airlines are OK with zippo lighters but some are not. I think it depends on the company.

I got an Olight warrior 3 s and it's faulty ffs. It won't go on to the 2300 lumins without flashing and going from 800 to 2300 lumins.

Love my m2r pro, olight makes too much new shit too often, already sent my warrior mini back for recall and I am getting the warrior mini 2, might send back my m2r pro aswell and get store credit for the warrior 3s or something idk, I still love my warrior x pro also and they got a new version of that of course.
