I actually have made some beautiful ones using sheetrock mud. Slathered it all over,dried then sanded them down and mud bath. They baking soda paint. But you did a beautiful job. Found someone new to watch. Most of new KZbinrs I do not follow.❤

I do love how this came out. Was the vessel already black when you started or did you paint it before aging?

Thank you so much! When I first bought the vessel, it was actually lime green! I used wall spackling paste to add texture, then painted it black. I used a similar process in my Lamp video on my channel if you want to see the full process. I would have filmed it for this vid, but actually did that part about 2 years ago 😂

Great job! And you know, Olive Ateliers is very expensive but I am not sure, and this is my humble opinion, that the vases or urns or jars are that old or vintage or antique, I think that many of them have their patina made exactly as you did, so kudos to you! Atelier means workshop/art studio in French, I suppose that they need many studios to transform their goodies ☺️, just my opinion.
