This is only just the beginning! I'm definitely going to have to make a part two of this video. I hope I inspired you to created your own DIY aged vessels!
I was very inspired by the LA store called Olive Ateliers, with their rustic, mediterranean finishes surrounded by olive trees and lavender.

The expanding foam that ate the sink mold......soooooo very funny! Literally LOL But in all seriosness, the faux limestone sink looks wonderful. It is now the inspriration for me along with using airdry clay and or aluminium foil for changing pot's shape. Thank you.

I'm really amazed how well that foam works! I've seen videos were people use mud and water and dry rubbed it on for an aged and rustic look. Thanks for all the great ideas. Also people rub moss on pots too. An idea for your terra cotta cylinders, maybe turn them into rustic candle holders for your patio? And use those flameless candles with the remote? Just a thought. Keep up the good work, the projects turned out beautiful.

I am in love with your "limestone" sink! I think it would be so fun to try this, even tho it looks so fragile I'm not sure what I'd use it for. I actually wonder if you could spray paint it, b/c it looks/feels a lot like styrofoam, & if you spray paint that---it melts! Only one way to find out...! Have you looked at videos on making hypertufa, which is Portland cement, peat moss, & vermiculite, done in a mold much like you were doing, only w/ cardboard boxes, as you apparently must rip the mold apart. It is used for planters & such & is much more solid than the foam. But more work, & not as much fun! Love your attitude & your channel!

I saw a woman who removed the bottom of terracotta pots and planted in them. They look like potted plants but the roots were in the ground. Her pots were larger and she used them for trees. But you could be inspired to plant other types of plants.

Not quite there, but lots of good ideas. Thanks. BTW, I have used drywall mud or maybe you call it "joint compound", or "mud". Then just grab a clump of it and smear it on the surface, and maybe even put it onto a "lazy susan" type thing that spins, to mimic a hand thrown pot, being sure to leave finger marks. It is great stuff, and very inexpensive. You can't put it on too thick but in layers otherwise it will crack and probably chip off. Be sure to scuff up the surface of everything, even the plastic with very gritty sand paper to ensure that your additions will not chip off. I would use a shellac based primer first, as well.🥰 Great idea to look at real aged pots for inspiration. Thanks again.
