Olive Passport Traveler’s Company Notebook Set up

Hi everyone,
In this video I am sharing the decoration of my new setup in my new olive coloured passport sized traveler’s notebook from Traveler’s Company! I also do another random pick of a giveaway winner for my most recent giveaway as the prize was not claimed by the initial winner!

your enthusiasm and love for journaling is contagious! I have been journaling for a little over 4 years myself and I have quite a collection of TN's as well. I don't really need another (haha) and thought no, I don't need this reissued olive- I can be perfectly happy with my browns, camels and one blue one. Ha Ha!! after I watched your video, I changed my mind and I searched high and low for an olive passport but so many are sold out...I did find one though, overseas on Smida Paper so I grabbed it along with some journaling cuties (which I also don't need) 😂. Can't wait to set the new one up- everyone is sold out of the sticker release inserts too, so will have to wait a couple months for some restocks. thank you ( I think??!! 😂🤗😊)

Loved the decorations! I like the idea of adding stickers from different TRC collections/years on the kraft folder! I should steal your idea and start one too 😄 PiscoLetters (Her name is Ploi) does girl stickers of all ethnicities. She drew an Indian girl for one of her collections. I was pleasantly surprised 😊

I'm glad you love doing TN setup videos because I love watching them! I usually find organizing journals and decorating them more enjoyable than actually using them. Strange! Your decorating really makes your new passport TN special and I am looking forward to watching what you do in the other passport size TN. When our children were young we bought an old VW bus and used it regularly. I had an untimely breakdown on a country road once, but I still loved driving that bus. It was your favorite color, orange! Anyway your sticker brought back fun memories. Congrats to Jackie on winning the giveaway!

Yay for Jackie!🎉 Love the VW collage. I would love to own one of those. I got a run down caravan sadly on ger last legs now. Can't complain had some fun times- can't canvas camp anymore sadly due to health issues 😢. Any hoo can't wait to see part 2!! ❤ xxx

The artwork resembles the art by Henry Darger, whose sketches & watercolors were done with schoolgirl themed. He collaged a lot with found materials. The kids in his neighborhood were Caucassian, so I am not surprised.

London Gifties creates PET/washi using licensed art featuring POC. Piscoletters is an artist from Thailand who draws girls with more diversity than other Asian-based artists I've seen. ❤️

Hi Ali! I do lurve all the decos 😍 Ploi from Pisco Letters definitely has some of the greatest variety of people in her PET and printables and also Nadia from Curated Monotony often has POC as well as differing body types in her products which change quite often. I think she has a subscription or patreon as well. It’s an interesting conundrum that a lot of girl PET are by south East Asian artists, maybe it’s purely a market demand, which is interesting too. I would love more gender and age diversity personally but look at the dominance of Barbie. 🤷🏼‍♀️ 🤔

Oooh I’ve not heard of Curated Monotony…I’ll be checking her out….thank you! But Barbie doll 😬😬😬 Louise….now I’ll be thinking of barbie dolls when I’m using my PET tape 😱🤣🤣🤣 To be fair I did love barbie dolls, I think they were Sindy dolls in my day in the Uk! My Sister preferred action man! Hers had a string you could pull, he said wonderful things like ‘hold your fire!’ and ‘this is your commander speaking’ 🤣🤣🤣 omg I’d completely forgotten him until just now! 🤣🤣

In the States not many use the Travelers Company products. Passport size or Pocket Size is really popular in the Journaling world right now. Many use Chic Sparrow Company for our leather notebooks and purchase or make our Own inserts. 🙂

The chic sparrow notebooks are lovely! I have a pocket in the Austen Emma, and an A6 in the March Hare and I love them both! However the postage and taxes to the Uk have become very expensive which is sad. My best wishes to you, Ali x

I’ve not heard of that before! I hope it doesn’t affect your vision. I can only see out of my right eye. It makes it hard to judge distance but otherwise is not a problem. Xx
