I was at Blueridge Rock Festival, which proved to be the worst imaginable. But I can say I did get to see Oliver Anthony’s performance open up the only day we had and it made the whole trip. Reminds me how I felt when I first heard Bob Dylan and Woody Guthrie. Chris is his own man, so too are his songs. Not many song writers can sing to create a specific feeling in the listener. They are rare and they open the eyes of society. Some say they speak for society, maybe they just reflect the state of the nation in lyrics. Chris is special that way, you hear it in the delivery of the songs . He has lived each song he sings. From time to time society is given special people who make it clear in song, as to what's going around (the pulse of our nation). You rock, Chris. I like how he added the electric guitar since they were at a rock festival made it more appealing to the crowd.
