But, every little bit of extra information; from his songs, interviews (he has only done 2 interviews -- Joe Rogan and Jordan Peterson), etc. -- my respect and admiration for him has only increased! I think you need to listen to the song, you either get it or you don't. The more you play it the better it gets. Still gives me chills, he has America's state at the moment pegged. It's more than just a song and a play list.

Oliver Anthony evokes Tupac Shakur/ Bob Dylan/ Woody Guthrie vibes. Music doesn't get more passionate and emotive than this. FTR, I am a retired professional music critic with 45 years experience. OA is going to have a long run, possibly decades+.

Brother, if you want to build a reaction channel going into a reaction with presuppositions or opinions or bias is not the road to success. You will receive requests for artists in genres you wont normally be drawn to and you should always go in blind and open minded, i think you will be pleasantly be surprised.
