Great job on all the research you have done to bring us the vids on the history of Oliver. I’m sure it makes you appreciate your own treasures that you get to use even more!

1206 was the first IH turbo tractor and allis chalmers is the first company to factory turbocharge a tractor period. 1206 was also the first tractor with more then 100 PTO horsepower

Now you are speaking my language! I have a Ford orchard I was told doesn't exist, but I found actual Ford literature that says it's factory, just wasn't popular here in our area. Most are in Washington state. I now have two Ford orchards and two Ford vineyards. I love the odd ducks! That 550 is awesome!

Another twist I hadn’t heard of with JD “innovation “. Used the competition to do their research. Really enjoyed the series on Charles City. Thanks for doing that.

Thanks for sharing these and their stories. Very unfortunate that the stories can't be fully confirmed, but glad he was able to get what information he could and share it.

That 550 is sweet. The 550 is on my short list to add to the collection. Probably not an orchard though. Love hearing the stories and the history. Thanks for documenting it.

the 4520 was Deeres first factory turbo built tractor the 4320 came out later and that's why the 4520 was short lived and had bottom end issues. So Deere fixed the issues and changed to the 4620. The KZbinr Locust Motorworks has a good video on it
