It took me a couple of weeks to get this out because I've been an emotional mess since the finale, seriously every time I watch their final scene I cry. The way they closed arrow's chapter with olicity was absolutely beautiful, while I'm not the biggest fan of the paradise ending, I've been dealt with way worse endings for my otps before and this one was the best case scenario out of all the possible endings they could've given to them. I would've loved for the writers to have given oliver the chance to live the rest of his life with felicity and their kids due to his noble sacrifice but I gotta admit I was satisfied with the way they acknowledged the importance and impact of their relationship on the entire show.

that was not a happy ending for them. it was just no the worst ending and period. they deserved the chance to finally enjoy each other's company, get to raise their kids together and get to see their city safe and being protected by their friends. they deserved to enjoy the changes oliver did as the spectre, get to share their lives with tommy, quentin and god help me even emiko. they were always sacrificing their happiness and lives for the greater good and that is not a happy ending. it sucked.

My Husband and I have just celebrated our 50th Wedding Anniversary and we still look at each other the same way Oliver and Felicity look at each other . Love like that will last a lifetime . Thay will have to bring them back again so we can all share that love that's last a lifetime, maybe in Green Arrow and the Canaries. That would make the Show great, The new Green Arrow getting help from Dad and Mum, after all He is SPECTRE

The final episode will never not make me cry, it's always a mixture of sadness and happiness whenever I do (currently in the middle of rewatching the entire show with one of my friends and I'm already mentally preparing myself for the waterworks! lol) I've seen so many mixed reactions on if their ending is a "happy ending." And honestly I believe it is. At the end of the day, everyone dies - if not now, many years later. They may not of been in the living world as long as we would of liked - but knowing that they will be together forever - is the happiest ending one could ask for. Amazing video, had me in tears all over again 🥺

The thing is that, they are not dead. They are in paradise dimension Oliver created. They can come back if they want it. That's what the showrunners said. So yes, it was a happy ending. They just need some time for them. They didn't even have a honeymoon. Since their children are adults, they are just enjoying being together.
