Oliver was much funnier in episode 1, when he still had to pretend to be "Oliver Queen" the rich playboy, party animal and womanizer. I understand the storyline got darker, more serious, there's more at stake and Oliver, as Arrow, now has a whole team to lead, plus he's basically becoming Arrow more and Oliver less. I like the transition and how they make it work but sometimes while watching more recent stuff I miss the fun side of Oliver. Hopefully they do bring it back. It'd be unrealistic with all the dark shit going on in his life right now, but the green arrow comics were fun because even while wearing the hood he had some fun and actually seemed to enjoy being a superhero.

I hope so too, dude. But, in my opinion, The personality of the character have to change in a slowely way. We have to see if Oliver begin to do jokes or be funny. He is The Arrow, but he is not the Green Arrow yet, You understand? The time is going to define the caracter.

Ikr! I wished they didn't turn him and the whole show into a Batman show... Arrow is supposed to be a goofy guy, and not like Bruce, at least from the comics, which is what is so charming about him. They could have done a lot to ease the change of character back to the light, funny Oliver by maybe him getting help for what happened to him and all. Well, what's done is done now... But if they had done it correctly, the show would have been much much better
