@@rosstheoliverman My dad was an Oliver man, one of my earliest memories of him was sitting on his lap while he pulled an empty hayrack with an Oliver Rowcrop.

Just wanted to let you know that I’m really enjoying your videos sir. I just bought 2 White 8900 combine’s any words of wisdom would be appreciated
@rosstheoliverman3 жыл бұрын
Thanks! The 8900’s are good machines. Just take your time servicing and maintaining them and they will do great. Fix things when they look questionable, don’t wait until they fail. Keep common wear parts on hand so you can fix and keep going if there’s a breakdown. Don’t hesitate to ask questions, I don’t mind helping!

I originally went to look at one a 2 wheel drive and the guy had a 4 wheel drive to. They are both in really good shape and always kept inside. In addition to the combine’s he had bought out all the parts a local dealer had when they went out of business. So I got both machines the heads and more brand new old stock parts that I will ever need (hopefully)

So far I still haven’t had the time to finish the engine on my 1955. Hopefully I’ll get the head back next week and be able to get it up and going again. Seeing you bailing straw with your 1855 is getting me motivated
