I last saw this bike in the pits at Kyalami in the early 1970s. Ago would listen intently at the exhaust before giving his mechanic the thumbs up. I wonder how his hearing is these days. Huge thrill to watch him race it though. Posters in my bedroom wall.

What a machine, I head that and Hailwood’s 297-6 on a wonderful day in the 60’s at Brands Hatch. From memory Ago decided to slide off at Paddock Hill Bemd.

Was also there. Think Agostini broke his finger? Lovely days!

Why didn't they start it facing in the right direction?

As a teenager I watched Ago and Phil Read racing the MVs around Oliver's Mount in the early seventies. The 350s had 7-speed gearboxes and you could hear every gear change around the entire circuit. Three cylinder bikes are the best sounding machines ever, I can't afford an MV but I do have a Rob North Trident, which I think sounds even nicer than the MV. kzbin.info/www/bejne/m4Ozl3asprWYsKc

And how light was the bike. The 'mechanic' lifted it with consumate ease! I aw Ago race the MV at Assen in 1976 and Cadwell in 1975. Brilliant.

@@laverdajota8089 True. Very true. The CBX is also a regular road bike that is horrible for racing but when it comes to engine sound......Oh Lord have mercy. I don't own one and it isn't a great bike to ride but it is impressive looking and it sounds awesome. However, the MV Agusta is absolutely amazing, a true performance race bike and ridden by one of the best riders. Cheers.

The old man picked up the motorcycle in the air to remove the paddock stand like it weigh nothing.

Old bikes were so much lighter than today, I could lift my TZ into the van by myself easily and I'm no muscle man. Couldn't do that with modern 4 cyl.

I took my family to Le Mans and we watched Ago in the MV 350 race. You could hear where he was in the circuit at any time just by the sound of the MV. Unbelievable.
