Olivetti Lettera 22 (1950s)

Vintage typewriters are an engineering marvel and need to be preserved and celebrated. The Olivetti Lettera 22 is a masterpiece and is on display in the Museum of Modern Art. This typewriter was (and is) the choice of many great writers for example, Leonard Cohen, Bob Dylan, Thomas Pynchon, Indro Montanelli, Will Self among others. The Lettera 22 is a particular favorite of Tom Hanks. I have made a series of videos showcasing some of my typewriters from my collection. I hope you enjoy.
