in other countries ive seen videos of when the artist is performing they are watching and listening when when the song is over they clap and cheer and whatnot. it’s a little different bc when an artist says something they cheer. i do wish that the crowd sometimes will just listen.

Many big artists like U2 and Coldplay and the Killers will stop singing and let the crowd take over. It’s a beautiful healing communal experience. The Delta Center was also built entirely for the Utah Jazz with cement ceilings that dramatically increases the crowd noise. It’s a huge home court advantage for the Jazz but has always hurt sound for concerts. That’s a lot of what you are hearing here.
