Hi, just wanted to share some insights. :) Favorite crime feels like Tom Hiddleston's pov in Taylor's Getaway Car. Here are the parallelisms in terms of the lyrics (I know this is a reach but please hear me out): 1. In favorite crime (assuming it's Tom's pov), Tom said he was her willing accomplice. We all know that Getaway Car was thematically inspired by bonnie and clyde's story, so this means that Tom willingly got in the getaway car with Taylor. 2. In the first verse of FC, Tom said he watched her fled the scene and in the bridge of getaway car, Taylor said "I'm in a getaway car , I left you in a motel bar, put the money in a bag and I stole the keys that were the last time you ever saw me. Taylor was the one who left Tom. 3. In the chorus part, Tom said "the things I did, just so I could call you mine". We all know that Tom is kind of a private person, and dating a popstar is not in his personality but he still did! 4. At the end of the chorus, Tom said "well I hope I was your favorite crime". In his mind, even if what they had was not good and short-lived, he still hoped he was Taylor's favorite crime. But at the beginning of getaway car, Taylor made it clear that "It was the best of times, the WORST of CRIMES". 5. In the second verse, Tom said he was an alibi and he talked about hearing sirens. And to prove that, Taylor used Tom as a getaway car and in the chorus part, Taylor said there were sirens in Tom's heart. 6. The bridge part of FC really tells the whole story of Tom and Taylor. From the first paparazzi photos of them kissing by the beach and to the time they broke up. Because of the things mentioned above, every time I listen to favorite crime it always breaks my heart.

Great video! I really liked your discussion about the "hate you with a smile on my face" line. I experienced that a while ago. A guy led me on and told me he wasn't ready for a relationship. Found out a few months later that he had a girlfriend. The minute I found out, I started laughing, which made no sense. But I was so fed up with it all. I cared so much and he did that to me. Lied and didn't even try to hide it.
